Makeup Revolution Iconic 1, 2 and 3 Review and Swatches (Urban Decay Naked Dupes)

Hi lovelies, welcome to my blog.  Since I am madly, head over heels in love with and addicted to Makeup Revolution I thought it would be fitting to feature some of their products for my first post.

Makeup Revolution have extremely pigmented products at an amazingly affordable price and with adorable packaging.  Their sister company I Heart Makeup is just as perfect and the founder of these brands Adam Minto is such a friendly person with a super cute Puggle called Blondie, (I just can't get enough of animals!).  They also provide awesome dupes from high end brands but at a fraction of the cost, what more could you want?!  I have been using their products for just over a year now and I have not been disappointed with anything yet.

For my first review I have chosen the Iconic 1, 2 and 3 palettes which are a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked, Naked 2 and Naked 3 palettes.  These palettes cost 4 Pounds each and when my sister picked these up for me, while she was in England last year, it converted to $7.79 AUD.  At the moment with the Australian Dollar so low they are around $8.70 AUD each which is still a steal considering the Urban Decay Naked palettes are $80 or more each in Australia.

I am going to jump straight into photos and swatches and then I'll let you know what I think.  Each underlined eyeshadow palette name is a direct link to the palette on the Makeup Revolution website if you wish to visit it.

All my swatches are always done over a primer or a base as I always use one for my eye looks.  These swatches are all over NYX jumbo eye pencil 'Milk'.  This Iconic 1 palette is an amazing dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palette.  I do own the original Naked palette and I will show you comparison swatches at the end of this blog but first of all here is Iconic 2 and 3.

Now here is the amazing part, Makeup Revolution Iconic 1 palette next to Urban Decay Naked palette.

Shade numbers 8 and 10 are just swapped around in the Iconic 1 palette but I have swatched the shades below in the order of the Naked palette.  Top row is Urban Decay Naked and bottom row is Makeup Revolution Iconic 1.

(Photobomb by one of my rescue cats Ariel.  He is always getting in photos as he always has to be beside me and getting pats.)

I think these swatches speak for themselves and I find apart from a slight difference with the matte shades the Iconic 1 palette looks and performs the same as the Urban Decay Naked.  Because of this I find no need to purchase the Naked 2 or Naked 3.  You can buy all 3 Makeup Revolution palettes for a third of one Urban Decay palette which is amazing value.  They are great quality and I can't recommend them enough.

Please let me know below what products you love from Makeup Revolution.  If there is a product from them that you would like a review and swatches of don't hesitate to ask because more likely than not I probably have it.

Have a great day and keep smiling!
